On June 20, 2024, around 8 p.m., a passerby in Taichung's North District smelled a foul odor while passing through the passage between two community buildings on Yingshi Road. Upon inspection, they discovered the body of a woman lying on the ground, suspected to have been deceased for several days, prompting them to quickly alert the police. Authorities have cordoned off the area and are currently investigating whether the woman is a resident of the community. The identity and cause of death are still pending further investigation.
