A small passenger car caught fire for unknown reasons near the 20.6K mark on the southbound lane of National Freeway No. 1 on June 26, 2024, around 11:18 a.m. The driver managed to escape before the flames spread, fortunately resulting in no casualties. Upon receiving the report, police and firefighters rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire and conduct rescue efforts.
