CPC Corp. Taiwan announced that starting from midnight on June 10th, the prices of gasoline and diesel will each be increased by 0.1 NTD per liter. The retail prices will be 29.3 NTD per liter for 92 unleaded gasoline, 30.8 NTD for 95 unleaded gasoline, 32.8 NTD for 98 unleaded gasoline, and 26.8 NTD for super diesel. This adjustment is attributed to a decrease in international oil prices and the exchange rate depreciation of the New Taiwan Dollar against the U.S. Dollar. Despite the calculated price increase based on pricing mechanisms, in order to keep prices lower than neighboring countries, CPC Corp. Taiwan will absorb additional costs, with 95 unleaded gasoline exceeding 30 NTD. The company will implement price stability measures, absorbing a portion of the increase in the first phase, with gasoline and diesel each absorbing an additional 0.3 NTD per liter.
