According to CTi News Network, on July 6, 2024, at 8:51 p.m., a traffic accident occurred this morning at the intersection of Sanning Street and an unnamed alley in Sanchong District, New Taipei City. A 73-year-old surnamed Yang collided with a 23-year-old surnamed Lien who was driving a private garbage truck. The accident resulted in an open fracture of Yang's right shinbone. Fortunately, there is no immediate life-threatening danger, and Yang is currently receiving treatment at Taipei Mackay Memorial Hospital. Lien, who was not under the influence of alcohol, failed to use a turn signal while making the turn, and the police will fine him according to Article 42 of the Road Traffic Management Regulations, with a penalty ranging from 1200 to 3600 yuan.
