According to a report from Chinatimes, on June 25, 2024, at 11:52 AM, a fire broke out at a noodle shop on Dazhi Street in Sanchong District, New Taipei City. The fire was suspected to be caused by a motorcycle knocking over a gas pipeline or mishandling of a gas tank. The fire was extinguished after about 7 minutes, burning an area of 8 square meters. A man and a woman were sent to Sanzhong Hospital and Taipei Mackay Memorial Hospital for precautionary treatment. Fire investigators and police are working to determine the exact cause of the fire.
