According to CTi News, on June 12th at around 7 a.m., a fatal accident occurred on Section 2 of Zhongshan Road in Tanzi District, Taichung City, heading towards Beitun District. A 73-year-old man surnamed Bao was riding a bike with his 11-year-old granddaughter when they were hit by a bus driven by a 55-year-old man surnamed Wang. The grandfather fell into the left lane and was crushed to death by a trailer truck passing by. The granddaughter suffered multiple abrasions on her hands and feet but is in stable condition after receiving medical treatment. Local police are reviewing surveillance footage to determine the exact cause of the accident. CTi News will provide further updates as the investigation progresses.
