According to CTi News on June 11, 2024, at 5:00 AM, a van in Keelung caught fire around 3:30 PM at the intersection of Fuxing Road and Zhonghe Road for unknown reasons, leading to the whole van being engulfed in flames and emitting thick black smoke. Luckily, the driver was not inside at the time of the incident. Bystanders quickly called the fire department, who arrived promptly to extinguish the fire. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
