On June 12, 2024, at 4:25 PM, a fire broke out at the Xiluo Police Substation in Xiluo Town, Yunlin County, suspected to have originated from an overheated electrical box outside the substation. Four fire trucks with eight firefighters were dispatched, and by 4:47 PM, the fire was brought under control. About 60 people were evacuated from the scene with no casualties reported. Further details of the incident will be clarified by the authorities.
