In Kaohsiung's Qiaotou District, a teenage girl surnamed Lin was riding a motorcycle with a friend surnamed Xiao on the back when they fell off the bike while trying to avoid a car at an intersection, causing injuries. Lin suffered abrasions on her head and feet, and a tear in her eye, but fortunately remained conscious. Police arrived at the scene to assist in sending the girls to the hospital for treatment. The incident is being investigated further to determine the exact cause of the accident.
