The Central Weather Bureau has issued a special weather alert for heavy rain in 12 counties and cities, including Keelung City, New Taipei City, and Taoyuan City, from the afternoon to evening on July 6. Additionally, an immediate thunderstorm alert has been issued for Hsinchu County and Miaoli County. The Bureau warns of localized heavy rain in areas from Miaoli to New Taipei, Nantou, and the southern mountainous regions, advising caution against lightning strikes, strong gusts, landslides, and falling rocks.
