Central Meteorological Bureau issued a special advisory for heavy rain for 13 counties and cities from this afternoon to tonight due to vigorous development of convective cloud systems. Areas such as Greater Taipei, Keelung, Nantou, Hualien, Changhua, Chiayi, Yilan, Tainan, and Pingtung may experience heavy rain, cautioning against thunderstorms, strong gusts, flooding in low-lying areas, and landslides in mountainous regions. The counties and cities under the heavy rain special advisory include Keelung, Taipei, New Taipei, Changhua, Nantou, Yunlin, Chiayi City, Chiayi County, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, Yilan, and Hualien.
