As of June 24, 2024, a high-temperature alert has been issued by the Central Weather Bureau for 14 counties and cities in Taiwan. Among them, Yunlin County is at risk of continuous extreme high temperatures of 38 degrees Celsius. The public is advised to avoid outdoor activities, stay hydrated, and take measures to cool down in the heat. Vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, and those with chronic illnesses should be particularly careful and avoid high-temperature environments.
