According to the Central Weather Bureau, a convective cloud system is intensifying, leading to possible short-duration heavy rainfall. As a result, a heavy rain advisory has been issued for 6 cities and counties as of 10:30 am today. The affected areas include Yunlin County, Chiayi City, Chiayi County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County. Residents in these regions are advised to be cautious of thunderstorms and strong gusts. The advisory is expected to last from this morning until tonight.
