On the evening of June 27, 2024, at 6:40 PM, a power outage occurred in the Banqiao area of New Taipei City affecting a total of 11,428 households due to a tripped circuit breaker. Taipower immediately dispatched personnel for restoration, with more than 80% (9,661 households) restored by 6:48 PM and full power restored within half an hour (7:10 PM).
