On June 20, 2024, at 5:34 PM, a fire broke out at the Micron memory plant in Holi, Taiwan, accompanied by a gas leak and smoke. The Taichung City Fire Department swiftly responded with 13 fire trucks and 29 firefighters dispatched to the scene. The fire occurred on the first floor of the factory, leading to immediate evacuation of the factory personnel who promptly notified the fire department. By the time firefighters arrived, the Emergency Response Team (ERT) had successfully extinguished the fire, with no casualties reported.
