A 44-year-old male surnamed Ke was found dead in a hotel in Kaohsiung's Fengshan District. He checked in on the 19th but was supposed to check out yesterday noon. When he didn't emerge and didn't respond to knocks, hotel staff used a spare key to discover the grim scene. Police found 0.34 grams of heroin in powder form and a syringe next to Ke's body, leading to a preliminary determination of a fatal drug overdose.
