On the evening of July 2, 2024, at around 6 p.m. at Fuzhou Train Station in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, a man in his 40s suddenly fainted and fell onto the railway tracks. Witnesses immediately alerted authorities, leading to swift response from Taiwan Rail personnel who informed the train dispatch center. The man, who had suffered head injuries and external bleeding along with abrasions on his limbs, was rescued from the tracks by paramedics and taken to Asia University Hospital in Banqiao for treatment. The incident temporarily disrupted train operations at Fuzhou Train Station.
