A man in New Taipei City was chased and attacked with a knife on Zhonghua Street in Luzhou District. Witnesses reported seeing the man being pursued and subsequently falling to the ground with multiple knife wounds all over his body. The attacker fled the scene, but was later apprehended by the police. The incident was allegedly triggered by a debt dispute between the victim, surnamed Yang, and the suspect, surnamed Chen. Yang was taken to New Kuang General Hospital for treatment, fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening. Police investigation into the matter is ongoing.
