An incident of bee stinging occurred in New Taipei City, where a 60-year-old man was attacked by a swarm of bees while hiking at Chicken Mother Hill in Gongliao. The man collapsed unconscious after being stung multiple times on the head, but regained consciousness before being carried down the mountain by rescue personnel to receive medical treatment. The accompanying women had no apparent injuries. The fire department reminds the public to calmly leave if encountering bees outdoors and to report emergencies promptly for timely rescue responses.
