A large fire broke out at a connected factory in Wugu District, New Taipei City, on the evening of June 30. Firefighters arrived promptly after receiving reports from the public, finding the factory fully engulfed in flames but fortunately no trapped individuals. The blaze was finally brought under control around 9:04 p.m. with the deployment of 75 vehicles and 205 personnel. Nearby residents were advised to close doors and windows, wear masks if venturing outside, and avoid the area to facilitate firefighting efforts.
