Breaking News: Multiple Injuries in Major Car Accident in New Taipei City as SUV Driver Collides with Front and Leaves 6 Passengers Injured

In a major car accident in New Taipei City on June 30, 2024, a SUV driver collided with the front of the vehicle for unknown reasons at the intersection of Beixin Road and Qingxi Road in Sanzhi District, injuring 3 men and 3 women who were sent to the hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The driver, a 21-year-old man surnamed Zheng, lost control while going down a hill and crashed into a roadside signpost. One person was trapped but conscious, and firefighters helped rescue the passengers, with a total of 6 people on board, 5 of whom were injured and sent to a nearby hospital for treatment. Further investigation will determine the cause of the crash and the driver tested negative for alcohol.
