The Central Weather Bureau issued a heavy rain advisory on the evening of the 22nd at 6:20 pm, with a probability of localized heavy rain in Nantou and mountainous areas of Taichung. The advisory is effective until 7:30 pm, cautioning against lightning, strong gusts, landslides, and falling rocks in mountainous areas.
