According to data from the Central Weather Bureau on June 30, 2024, the Taimali Jinlun Station in Taitung recorded a high temperature of 41 degrees Celsius! The weather bureau issued a heat advisory for 17 counties and cities. Due to a southwest wind descent, various areas are experiencing extremely hot weather, with the possibility of 38-degree extreme high temperatures in Taipei and Taitung and the likelihood of consecutive 36-degree temperatures in other areas. Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, labor, and exercise, protect themselves from the sun, stay hydrated, and prevent heat-related injuries.
