A cultivator accident occurred in Ren'ai Township, Nantou on July 4, 2024. The elderly farmer driving the cultivator was trapped under the vehicle and had no signs of life upon being rescued, prompting an emergency transport to the hospital. The incident took place due to a road level difference causing the cultivator to overturn. Despite immediate assistance from firefighters and volunteers raising the cultivator to free the farmer, he was found unresponsive and without a pulse. Medical personnel provided emergency treatment at the scene before transporting him to Puli Veterans Hospital for further care.
