According to CTi News on June 21, 2024, at 8:51 am, residents in Xinyi District, Taipei City reported multiple power outages starting around 3 pm, forcing them to go outside for fresh air. Taiwan Power Company explained that the outage in the vicinity of 650 Lane, Songshan Road was due to a fire emergency to assist in firefighting, affecting 933 households. Field personnel are cooperating with fire units for restoration. This incident marks another power outage in Xinyi District, Taipei City affecting multiple areas in the afternoon.
