A 32-year-old Taiwanese woman surnamed Qian fell to her death in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with severe head and body injuries, resulting in instant death. Before the incident, she was talking on the phone with her brother in Taiwan. The security guard of the building heard a loud noise around 9 p.m. and found the woman's body, leading to the discovery. Preliminary investigations suggest suicide by jumping. The deceased's body is currently at a temple awaiting family identification. Her Taiwanese girlfriend living in the same building confirmed the incident and mentioned receiving a call from the deceased's brother reporting the phone call interruption, eventually leading to the discovery of the woman's death.
