A fire broke out in a three-story townhouse on Guangming Road, Lane 32, in Sanchong District, New Taipei City, with two women found unconscious on the third floor. Despite efforts to rescue them, both women showed no signs of life and were urgently sent to the hospital. One of the women, surnamed Song, showed signs of life on the way to the hospital and is currently receiving emergency treatment. The cause of the fire, believed to have started on the second floor, is still under investigation.
