A woman fell from the rooftop of a building in Banciao, New Taipei City on July 1, 2024, around 3:22 AM, triggering a rescue operation by emergency services. The 70-year-old woman was found with severe injuries and without vital signs upon arrival at the scene. Despite being sent to the hospital for treatment, she could not be saved. The preliminary investigation ruled out foul play and suggested she may have fallen voluntarily from the 8th floor, but further investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the fall and identify the deceased.
