According to a report from CtiTV News website on June 30, 2024, at around 8:50 am, a woman in her 70s, residing near the location, was found floating in the sea near 4 Longdong Street in Gongliao, New Taipei City. Local police and firefighters rushed to the scene upon receiving the report and performed CPR before transporting her to the hospital. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead around 10 am. Further investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
