Zheng Wencan's aide, city councilor Zhang Zhaoliang, is reportedly involved in a lobbying case that led to a large-scale search by the Taoyuan District Prosecutor's Office. This follows the recent arrest of Zheng for allegedly accepting bribes. Zhang is suspected of attempting to influence the classification of a construction project in Longtan District, and authorities have interrogated multiple witnesses in connection with the case.
