A 40-year-old female patient with left breast cancer requested doctors not to damage her beautiful tattoo during treatment at Cheng-Ching Hospital in Taiwan. The tattoo represented love and was preserved throughout surgery and radiation therapy. Despite the presence of a 1.3cm tumor and lymph node metastasis, precise radiation treatment ensured both the tumor and the tattoo remained intact, with no cancer cells found in follow-up examinations. The patient's unique request highlights the hospital's personalized approach to breast cancer treatment, aiming to effectively treat the cancer while respecting the patient's wishes.
