Reported 11 months ago

British sprinter Louie Hinchliffe made history by becoming the first European to win the men's 100m at the NCAA Championships with a time of 9.95 seconds, making him the sixth quickest British sprinter and the ninth fastest in the world for the year. Hinchliffe, representing the University of Houston coached by Carl Lewis, plans to compete at the UK Championships later this month as part of the British trials for the Paris Olympics, following his win at the English national title in 2022 and personal record improvement from 10.17 to 9.95 seconds in 2024.
