Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky has successfully resumed bourbon production five months after a significant flood caused by heavy rains inundated its facilities, halting operations for a month. The distillery, which has a rich history dating back to the 1800s, faced severe damage, but with the help of its dedicated staff and community offers of support, it has returned to normal production of its popular brands. Though the whiskey industry overall faces challenges from declining sales and trade uncertainties, Buffalo Trace is focused on long-term resilience and preparing for future floods.
