After being inactive for years, the Tzu Chi Guandu Eco-Station began construction recently with the laying of chain bricks on June 18, following a 2-year planning period. Many volunteers enthusiastically participated, enduring the scorching sun to help set up the station. The new location of the eco-station, initially delayed due to construction, has now found a spot along Lide Road. Tzu Chi volunteers and staff from the humanities industry came together to contribute to the green space, aiming to create a sustainable and comfortable home for environmental volunteers. The use of chain bricks, considered eco-friendly for water penetration and plant growth, showcases the commitment towards environmental protection and the Earth. Despite the hard work, volunteers expressed happiness and dedication, highlighting the meaningful nature of the collaborative effort.
