In collaboration with Taipei North Rotary Club and National Hospital, along with New Taipei City Health Bureau, the 'Rural Residents Health Promotion and Emergency Medical Green Channel Project' aims to enhance healthcare promotion for rural residents. With the support of Taipei North Rotary Club, the project focuses on implementing telemedicine to improve medical services for remote areas. Despite Taiwan ranking first in the world in the 2023 Global Health Care Index, the project addresses the persistent urban-rural healthcare quality gap, particularly in the 29 townships of New Taipei City, of which 20.69% are considered remote areas with limited medical facilities. Through innovative healthcare service models and international cooperation, the project intends to bridge the healthcare gap in rural regions, showcasing services such as remote health monitoring, AI-assisted fall detection, and telemedicine consultations for specialized medical needs.
