A US judge has ruled that the majority of the Securities and Exchange Commission lawsuit against Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, and its co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao can move forward. The SEC had sued Binance and Zhao a year ago for mishandling customer funds, misleading investors, and breaking securities rules. Out of 13 counts in the lawsuit, 10 will proceed entirely, two partially, and one has been dismissed.
