The latest report from the 77th World Health Assembly in 2024 emphasizes the need for healthcare systems to move towards Integrated People-Centred Health Services (IPCHS) to promote public health. In collaboration with Google Cloud's diverse AI capabilities and Google Health's clinical expertise, a 'AI Medical Care Research Program' for chronic disease risk management will be initiated, focusing initially on diabetes. By using artificial intelligence to develop disease risk classification and prediction models, and integrating it with the Bureau of National Health Insurance's 'Everyone's Doctor Program,' an innovative approach to people-centered integrated health care will be established. With the burden of chronic diseases on the rise in Taiwan, this partnership aims to enhance healthcare capacity through AI support to address these health challenges.
