A 64-year-old woman in Gushan was recently scammed by a fraud group pretending to be her junior high school classmate, falsely claiming to be seriously injured abroad and in need of life-saving money, convincing the woman to withdraw 100,000 yuan for assistance. Despite police's efforts to dissuade her, the woman insisted that it was not a scam based on the guidance of Mazu, causing police to be both amused and concerned. After careful explanation and persuasion, the woman finally came to her senses and the fraud was successfully prevented.
