Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD plans to increase its dealership network in South Africa from 13 to around 30-35 by next year, aiming to strengthen its presence in the growing electric vehicle market. With increasing competition from other Chinese companies, BYD has launched six models, including its latest hybrids and electric SUVs, and is committed to educating South African consumers about electric mobility as the country gradually shifts towards electrified vehicles.
