The Executive Yuan in Taiwan has passed a draft amendment to the 'Cybersecurity Law,' focusing on 4 main directions to enhance practical operations. These directions include specifying supervisory authorities and responsibilities, strengthening the management of cybersecurity by supervising agencies, setting requirements for cybersecurity personnel, and enhancing the investigation powers of central competent authorities for major cybersecurity incidents involving non-governmental organizations. The goal is to improve national cybersecurity regulations and systems to respond better to increasingly complex cyber threats.
