Monaco's midfielder Mohamed Camara has faced criticism after covering up anti-homophobia logos on his shirt during a match against Nantes. All Ligue 1 clubs had been wearing the campaign logo as part of an initiative by the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP). France's sports minister called for strong sanctions against Camara and Monaco, with the LFP investigating the incident. Monaco's coach stated that the club supports the initiative and will address the situation internally with Camara.
