Neihu traffic has been a nightmare for many commuters and a challenge for past Taipei mayors. Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an attended the inauguration ceremony of the 'Nei Ke ∞ Nan Ruan' double-park bus today, announcing its official operation at 13:10, aiming to link the Neihu Technology Park and Nangang Software Park to facilitate business visits and exchanges. Through surveys and visits to over 200 companies, it was found that there is indeed a demand with an average of about 1,700 daily commuters on the route, indicating the need for such a service in the area. Chiang Wan-an expressed his efforts to continuously propose solutions and policies to alleviate Neihu traffic congestion, with recent improvements showing a 6% to 13% reduction in commuting time during off-peak hours.
