Reported about 1 year ago

Hsu Yin-Hsuan and Lin Chih-Yun from Taiwan, ranked 45th in the world in women's doubles, made an impressive journey at the Canada Open Badminton Championships by advancing to the final where they challenged the top-seeded Japanese duo Iwanaga Suzu and Nakano Takaharu. Although they lost with scores of 13-21 in both sets, their runner-up achievement marked their best performance together. The Canada Open is part of the BWF Super 500 Series with a total prize of $420,000. Hsu and Lin, who started their partnership last year, surprised many by reaching their first Super 500 Series final. Despite their loss to the recent US Open champions, the Taiwanese duo showed competitiveness and potential for future success. Their partnership has already yielded three lower-level international titles, and the Canada Open marked a significant milestone in their badminton career.
