According to the '2024 Livability Index' released by the UK-based international moving service company '1st Move International,' Canada has emerged as the most popular immigration destination globally with 1.5 million searches, maintaining the top spot. Japan is the only Asian country to make it to the top 10 rankings. Factors like high quality of life, diverse culture, excellent public healthcare and education systems, and stunning natural landscapes contribute to Canada's appeal. However, the country's relatively high cost of living, especially in major cities like Vancouver and Toronto, is a consideration. Other countries in the top 10 include Australia, New Zealand, Spain, and the UK, while the US did not make it to the top 10 list.
