According to the latest poll, the favorability of the Kuomintang has fallen to third place, being overtaken by the People's Party. Facing controversies over legislative power reform and the recall of Keelung Mayor Xie Guo-liang, the Kuomintang is in a difficult position. The poll also shows that their unfavorability has reached 54%, the highest among the parties surveyed. The Democratic Progressive Party's favorability has increased to 49.2%, while the Kuomintang is at 34.4% and the People's Party at 34.7%. These numbers were derived from a survey conducted by the Liberty Times involving 1074 respondents nationwide.
