Canon (2374) announced a June revenue of 542 million NTD, a 5.25% decrease from the previous month but a significant 39.52% increase from the same period last year. With continuous growth in orders for 360-degree cameras and hybrid cameras along with the shipment of new products such as edge computing, Canon foresees a stronger performance in Q3 compared to Q2, expecting better operational results this year compared to last. The company remains focused on imaging products, hybrid cameras, and expanding into AI edge computing products for smart city applications. Looking ahead, Canon anticipates increased revenue and profit in the second half of the year driven by new product production, favorable exchange rates, and the rising demand for main products like 360-degree and hybrid cameras.
