Reported 4 months ago

A large cargo ship lost control of its engines and went at full throttle through a South Carolina harbor, resulting in the closure of the Ravenel Bridge. Harbor pilots managed to guide the ship safely under the bridge before anchoring offshore. Minimal damage was caused by the ship's wake, with two people sustaining minor injuries. The incident prompted the closure of the bridge for 10 minutes, with authorities ensuring the safety of all individuals on the bridge. The ship, owned by Mediterranean Shipping Company, was heading to Savannah from Charleston's port. Thankfully, the crew regained control after the incident without further issues.
