The Danish brewer's offer was initially rejected, but with the clause now waived, Carlsberg may revise its bid. Britvic's shares surged 10% to a record high, while Carlsberg's stock slightly decreased. The potential acquisition could lead to an expanded partnership with Pepsi, affecting Coca-Cola bottling agreements in Denmark and Finland. Carlsberg has until July 19 to finalize their offer for Britvic.
