Cathay Pacific Airways is conducting a fleet-wide inspection of its Airbus A350 aircraft due to an engine component failure identified on a flight to Zurich. The airline has cancelled 24 return flights and several planes will be out of service for a few days while repairs and replacements are made. This failure marks the first of its kind in the A350 fleet globally, leading to immediate action in coordination with regulatory bodies.
