According to CATL's chairman, Zeng Yuqun, up to 50% of heavy truck sales in China could shift to electric vehicles (EVs) by 2028, increasing from just 10% in 2024. This trend highlights growing challenges for fuel demand in the trucking sector, particularly affected by the rise of LNG trucks.
